During a 6-year professional hockey career that kept him on the road for months at a time, Peter used every spare moment to study his mother's GIA gemology books. By the time he retired from professional sports, he had built a serious foundation in diamonds, precious metals, and fine jewelry that most jewelers spend a career developing. He then immersed himself fully in the craft, training formally and opening his private studio in Naples, Florida.
