PRIVACY POLICY — SAKARIS JEWELERS
Last updated: July 23, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how Sakaris Jewelers ("Sakaris Jewelers," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects your personal information when you visit our site, use our services, book or complete a consultation, or make a purchase from www.sakarisjewelers.com (the "Site"), or otherwise communicate with us (collectively, the "Services"). "You" and "your" means you as the user of the Services, whether you are a customer, website visitor, consultation client, or another individual whose information we collect under this policy.

Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. By using or accessing any of the Services, you agree to the collection, use, and disclosure of your information as described here. If you do not agree, please do not use or access the Services.

CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to our practices, our Services, or for operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. We will post the revised policy on this page and update the "Last updated" date above. Where required by law, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent before making material changes. Your continued use of the Services after a revised policy is posted constitutes your acceptance of the changes.

HOW WE COLLECT AND USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

To provide the Services, we collect personal information about you from a variety of sources, described below. What we collect depends on how you interact with us — whether you're browsing the Site, booking a virtual consultation, or completing an order.

We use your information for purposes including, but not limited to:

- Communicating with you and responding to inquiries
- Designing, producing, and fulfilling your piece, including consultation, quoting, and order processing
- Processing payment and managing your account
- Sending marketing and promotional communications, including Never Forget Club reminders, new collection announcements, and offers, where you have not opted out
- Personalizing and improving your experience with the Services
- Analyzing and improving the Services, our products, and our business operations
- Maintaining the security and integrity of the Services, including fraud prevention and troubleshooting
- Complying with applicable legal, tax, accounting, and regulatory obligations
- Enforcing our Terms of Service and other applicable agreements
- Establishing, exercising, or defending legal claims, and protecting the rights, property, and safety of Sakaris Jewelers, our clients, employees, and others
- Any other purpose disclosed to you at the time your information is collected, or with your consent

We may combine information we collect from you with information we obtain from other sources, including the third parties described below.

WHAT PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT

Information You Provide Directly

- Contact details, including your name, address, phone number, and email.
- Order information, including billing address, shipping address, payment confirmation, email, and phone number.
- Consultation and design information, including ring or finger size, budget range, stone and metal preferences, design references, and any other detail necessary to design and build your piece. If you choose to send photos of your hand, finger, or reference images during a consultation, we retain those as part of your design file — we do not require or request photos as part of the standard consultation process, but many clients send them voluntarily to help communicate sizing or style.
- Account information, including username, password, and security details, if you create an account.
- Marketing preferences, including your communication and subscription preferences.
- Customer support information, including anything you share with us directly, such as messages sent through the Site or through our appointment booking tool.
- Any other information you choose to provide to us.

Some features of the Services require you to provide this information directly. You may choose not to, but that may prevent us from completing a consultation, quote, or order.

Information We Collect Automatically

We, and service providers acting on our behalf, may automatically collect certain information about your interaction with the Services ("Usage Data") using cookies, pixels, tags, web beacons, log files, and similar technologies (collectively, "Tracking Technologies"). This may include:

- Device and browser type, operating system, and settings
- IP address and approximate location derived from it
- Referring and exit pages, pages viewed, and time spent on the Site
- Click and scroll activity, search terms used on the Site, and interaction with emails
- Network connection information

We use this information to operate and secure the Services, understand how visitors use the Site, diagnose technical issues, and, where applicable, measure the effectiveness of our marketing.

We do not currently use paid advertising or retargeting technologies (such as Meta Pixel or similar ad platforms) on the Site. We may begin using these, or other analytics and advertising technologies, in the future. If we do, we will update this policy accordingly and, where required by law, provide appropriate notice or obtain your consent.

Most browsers allow you to control cookies through their settings, including blocking or deleting them. Blocking certain cookies may affect the functionality of the Site.

Information We Obtain from Third Parties

We work with trusted vendors and service providers who may collect or process information on our behalf, including:

- Shopify — our ecommerce platform, which supports the Site and processes orders.
- Appointo — our consultation and appointment scheduling tool.
- Judge.me and Google Reviews — used to collect and display product and service reviews.
- Instafeed — used to display our Instagram content on the Site.
- QuickBooks Online — our accounting and invoicing system.
- Our messaging and payment processing partners, who collect information (such as payment details or billing address) necessary to fulfill your order and communicate with you.
- Analytics, marketing, or advertising providers we engage in the future, which will be added here and disclosed at the time of adoption.

Any information we obtain from these providers is treated in accordance with this Privacy Policy and, where applicable, that provider's own privacy policy.

HOW WE DISCLOSE PERSONAL INFORMATION

We do not sell your personal information for money. We may disclose personal information to:

- Service providers and vendors who perform services on our behalf (see list above), under contractual obligations to protect your information and use it only for the purposes we specify
- Professional advisors, including lawyers, accountants, and insurers, where necessary for their services to us
- Law enforcement, regulators, courts, or other parties where required by law, subpoena, or other legal process, or where we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Sakaris Jewelers, our clients, or others
- A successor entity in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of some or all of our assets, in which personal information may be transferred as a business asset, subject to standard confidentiality protections
- Any other party, with your consent or at your direction

We may also share aggregated or de-identified information that cannot reasonably be used to identify you, without restriction.

DATA SECURITY

We maintain reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any account credentials.

DATA RETENTION

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide the Services, fulfill the purposes described in this policy, and comply with our legal, tax, accounting, and contractual obligations — for example, order records and the one-year manufacturing defect coverage described in our Return and Refund Policy. When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete, destroy, or de-identify it.

MARKETING COMMUNICATIONS AND YOUR CHOICES

If you receive marketing emails or texts from us, including Never Forget Club reminders and promotional communications, you may opt out at any time by using the unsubscribe link included in the communication or by contacting us directly at the information below. Opting out of marketing communications will not affect transactional communications related to an order, consultation, or account you have with us.

YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS

Depending on where you live, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information, which can include the right to:

- Request access to the personal information we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate information
- Request deletion of your personal information, subject to legal and contractual exceptions (for example, order and warranty records we're required to retain)
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, or of targeted advertising, where applicable — as noted above, we do not currently sell personal information
- Request a copy of your personal information in a portable format, where applicable
- Not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the information below. We will respond in accordance with applicable law and may need to verify your identity before completing certain requests. You may also have the right to designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf, where permitted by law.

This section provides a general summary and may not reflect every right available under the specific laws of your state or country. We recommend consulting the privacy laws applicable to your location or your own legal counsel with specific questions.

CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

The Services are not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe we have collected information from a child, please contact us so we can address it.

THIRD-PARTY WEBSITES AND LINKS

The Site may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites, and we encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing any information.
