Peter grew up in Montreal, Canada, the son of a jeweler. He spent his formative years immersed in the family business before a six-season professional hockey career took him across North America and Europe. When he retired from sport, he returned to the craft he had grown up with and devoted himself entirely to mastering it.
He launched Sakaris Jewelers as a private design studio with a single founding principle: clients deserve to work directly with the person making their ring, without the markups, the sales pressure, or the disconnect that defines most of the traditional jewelry industry.
